ππππππ-ππππ held its bi-annual consortium meeting in BraΘov, Romania, between May 18β20, 2026, marking two years since the launch of the project funded by the Horizon Europe Programme and managed by CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency.
Hosted by Transilvania University of Brasov (Prof. Andronic Luminita) and Propark Foundation for Protected Areas (Dr. Tiberiu Chiriches), the meeting was led by the project coordinator, Prof. Mohamed Eldessouki,Β and brought together project partners to review progress and discuss the exploitable results achieved within WP1 Design and landscape the nature-based solutions, WP2 Develop the digital decision support platform, and WP3 Devise Living Labs and prepare the Nature-based Solutions, which have now been successfully completed. Discussions also focused on the launch of WP4 Deploy and demonstrate the regional nature-based solutions, which will guide the project activities over the next two years.
The event included technical workshops, Advisory Board discussions, planning sessions for upcoming demonstrators and replicators, as well as a visit to the BraΘov demo site.
