NATURE-DEMO Dissemination at ICONHIC 2026 in Greece

The 4th International Conference on Natural Hazards and Infrastructure (ICONHIC 2026) took place from June 29 to July 2 in Chania, Greece, gathering global experts in climate risk, hazard assessment, and sustainable infrastructure adaptation.

Colleagues from the German Centre for Rail Traffic Research (DZSF) participated in the event and used the opportunity to communicate and disseminate NATURE-DEMO through discussions and networking with international experts.

Strengthening Multi-Hazard Adaptation

Engaging with international platforms like ICONHIC 2026 allows NATURE-DEMO project partners to exchange insights on climate risk modeling, build scientific networks, and align nature-based solutions with current engineering and data-driven approaches for critical infrastructure protection.
