NATURE-DEMO Featured at Graduates in Front of Companies (AFCO 2025)

We're thrilled to share that NATURE-DEMO was presented at the 13th edition of the annual Graduates in Front of Companies - AFCO 2025, event, organized by Transilvania University of Brașov! This key academic and career-focused event, held on May 13, 2025, provided a valuable platform for networking and knowledge exchange between companies, university staff, and students.

NATURE-DEMO took center stage through an engaging poster presentation (see the poster, titled "Nature-based solutions for climate-resilient urban infrastructure") delivered by a dedicated master’s student. The presentation highlighted the project's core objectives and key activities, with a particular emphasis on the crucial role of nature-based solutions in building climate resilience within urban environments.

Our participation at AFCO 2025 was a great opportunity to connect with a young and dynamic audience of future professionals. By introducing them to the innovative approaches of NATURE-DEMO, we aimed to foster awareness and inspire the next generation to consider the power of nature in tackling climate challenges.

This communication activity directly supports our local dissemination efforts and significantly contributes to Task 6.3 of the project, which focuses on engaging academic and professional communities through impactful public outreach and education. We believe that connecting with students at events like AFCO 2025 is vital for building a future where nature-based solutions are integral to creating resilient and sustainable cities.

Stay tuned for more updates on NATURE-DEMO's progress and outreach activities!
